This month I visited Goodwood Gardens in Tallahassee for the first time. I guess I waited too far into spring because the blooms were few and far between. It was free to go and look around, but there really wasn't anything good to see. I did not tour the house because I'm not a fan of touring old houses. I've not been to one that was worth touring, so I didn't think this one would be any more interesting than houses I've toured in the past. Over all, the trip was a bust.
This blog contains the views and thoughts of me, the aforementioned Dilettante, as I see the world through my lens and my imagination. I make no claims to possessing any talent, but hope that someone, somewhere, will enjoy the view from my perspective.

Spring, as far as gardens are concerned, ends here in mid May most years.
Anyway, the best time to hit Goodwood is during the annual plant give-aways, when you can get cuttings or small rooted bits of the many local and heirloom plants growing there.
I'll have to look for when that is, I'll definately be there. Thanks!
