I took this photo from the top of a tour bus in 2006. The bus had a clear cover which was very dirty, causing the hazyness visible in the photo. My trip to New York was very much like the story in "Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David Sedaris. Only I felt like Sedaris, and my companions on the trip were both like the crazy southerner that was obsessed with the commercial aspect rather than New York itself. For example, I had "New York" pizza . . . at an Uno. I must go back by myself.
This blog contains the views and thoughts of me, the aforementioned Dilettante, as I see the world through my lens and my imagination. I make no claims to possessing any talent, but hope that someone, somewhere, will enjoy the view from my perspective.
